The 20-year-old will join the Bundesliga side on loan with the German side having the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
“We have been interested in Jukka since last summer. He can play in both full-back positions and his excellent performances at the U-21 European Championships came as no surprise to us. We’ll make sure he has the time he needs to develop here at the club,” Sporting director Jan Schindelmeiser said on the club’s official website.
