“I spoke to [Parma coach Francesco] Guidolin even last year and then this possibility arrived. For Parma, it wasn’t an easy operation, but I think that in the end they did well.
“I don’t want to mention exact amounts, but it was an investment which was inferior to €2.5m and I think that it was a good deal, even for them.”
