The striker left Real Madrid to join Sevilla in a €15million deal this summer.
“He is a person with great confidence in himself,” Madrid’s general director was quoted as saying.
“I think that he has what it takes to play up front for Madrid.
“It is also true that we recognise this potential. It is highly likely that Negredo will return to the club in one or two seasons.
“I think that various youngsters, such as Negredo, Parejo, Torres and Bueno will all have the chance to show what they can do with other clubs and then come back, because we have included clauses with all of them.”
