Conte has replaced sacked boss Angelo Gregucci at the club, following Atalanta’s poor start to the season.
“Atalanta announces that it has entrusted the role of first-team coach to Mr Antonio Conte,” read a club statement.
“The club thanks Mr Angelo Gregucci and his staff for their work to date and wishes them success in the future.”
