The Catalans moved three points clear at the top of the Primera Division, following their win over Almeria on Saturday.
“Let’s hope Madrid don’t win and we will be on our own at the top,” he told the Catalan club’s official website.
“I would not say it was the hardest game, but it was a bit strange. We took the points as best we could and I think we were the better team,” he continued on their clash with Almeria.
“It was difficult because we are not used to facing tactics like Almeria used.
“My former Barca B team-mate Chico did a great job and I wish him all the best, but we are on a good run and it’s good to get a win just before the break, even without playing at our best.”
