Everton have had scouts watch the France international, according to reports in France.
“I am not aware of any club interested in me,” Fanni told Skysports.com.
“I’ve been told Everton is looking at me, but nothing official so I can’t comment, I am here at Rennes, so let’s see.”
Fanni’s contract with Rennes expires in 2011.
