The 29-year-old turned down offers from Brazilian clubs and instead signed a new three-year deal at Hull.
“I’m very happy to have signed a new deal and I’m very happy at Hull,” Geovanni said to The Daily Mirror.
“Other clubs have raised an interest in me but my choice was to stay here because I see no reason for change.
“I think the future is bright at Hull. I renewed my contract because of this and I think in three years time I will still be here.”
