The Blues lost 2-1 at Villa Park, their second loss in three Premier League games.
“We conceded two goals from two corners but I think we created more chances and could have more goals and got the result,” he said.
“It is always difficult to play away from home, especially after being away with the national team.
“Villa are a good side, but over all I think we were much better than them.
“Now we must rest and recover and start to think about Atletico Madrid because we want to qualify as soon as possible so that we can concentrate on the Premier League.”
