The Spanish side face the Blues at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League on Wednesday.
“We are eagerly anticipating this match,” he said. “Chelsea have been playing well, yes, but we have a lack of points and want to do our best to take something from this game.
“We have the potential to beat every team in our group, including Chelsea.”
“We have not been doing well, but our form has improved and I’m sure we will climb up the table soon,” he continued.
“We have conceded too many goals, but that is because of the offensive style of football in the league.
“Everyone is attacking but the defenders have to play their part too.”
He added: “The targets remain the same – in La Liga we must finish in a Champions League place and in that competition this year we want to make it past the group stages.”
