Roma have gone three games without a win, following defeats to Milan and Livorno in the Serie A and a draw against Fulham in the Europa League.
“It has been a difficult moment for us. We have had many first team players injured, but I am convinced that Roma can rise again,” Doni told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
“I am feeling well. The injury on Sunday could have been far worse, the pain was strong, but I am better now.
“I am hoping to make it but I want to see how my leg is feeling before getting onto the pitch.”
