Upson has just 18 months left on his £50,000-a-week contract with the Hammers and the club has so far failed to agree on an extension with the defender.
The 31-year-old almost joined Liverpool in the summer, but the two clubs failed to agree a fee in time.
The Mirror says West Ham want around £15million for the defender.
