The Argentinian suffered the injury in Saturday’s Ligue 1 game agaisnt Toulouse.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
“He will undergo further medical tests on Monday but it looks like it’s less serious than expected,” club doctor Christophe Baudot told, quotes the Marseille website.
“With this kind of injury, he could be sidelined up to four weeks,” he added.
