Blasi unhappy at Palermo

The 29-year-old is struggling to come to terms with his role in the Palermo team.

“Footballers are obviously unhappy when they don’t play,” agent Davide Lippi told Mediterraneonline.

“Playing football is their job and they feel dejected when that doesn’t happen.

“Then again, he is a professional and will give his all to reclaim his place in the side.”

Blasi is currently on loan from Napoli and new boss Walter Mazzarri could decide to recall the midfielder.

“Nowadays we talk constantly about the transfer market,” mused Lippi.

“Manuele must get back his place in the Palermo team for the time being.

“I hope he manages that and is given the opportunities he deserves. Then, we’ll see. He is on loan and is still owned by the Azzurri.

“He didn’t play under [former Napoli coach Roberto] Donadoni, but maybe the new boss [Walter Mazzarri] sees football differently and could call him back in January.”
