Spurs suffered a 3-0 defeat to their North London rivals last weekend.
“We don’t want to lose to Arsenal, full stop – and we never want to lose 3-0 to anyone,” the defender told Tottenham’s official website.
“We know how much this game means. We’re all disappointed. We have to pick ourselves up.
“It’s one game and I’m sure this will hurt for a few days yet but once that’s over we have to focus on the next match and try to get back to winning ways against Sunderland.”
