“We played against a very good team who put in an excellent performance,” said Hamsik.
“I honestly reckon that the USA are among the top ten strongest outfits in the world and it’s no wonder they are hard to beat.
“I am happy to have won this match. I took the penalty the way I was planning to. I picked an angle, I shoot and that’s where the ball landed.”
