Bargfrede is keen to open contract talks with the German side annd commit his future to Werder.
“I am waiting on our first meeting to discuss a contract extension. I’m curious what Werder have to offer me. I am confident that we will reach an agreement though,” Bargfrede told Syker Kreiszeitung.
The 20-year-old’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2011.
