Rosicky’s agent insists the midfielder’s latest injury will not be a barrier to signing an extension.
Rosicky had just returned to action following a 18-month lay-off when he suffered a groin injury against Stoke City on Saturday.
The former Borussia Dortmund star’s contract with the Gunners is set to expire at the end of the season.
“The latest injury can not affect the negotiations on his current contract extension – the contract is already on the table,” Pavel Paska told deniksport.cz.
“At the end of this week I am going to London and we will be discussing the details.
“And I am sure that we will reach an agreement as both sides are interested in doing that.
“We have been discussing two options – a two-year or three-year contract. As for the terms, all sides will be very happy.”
