Edman’s agent Allan Bak Jensen has admitted the former Tottenham defender could leave Wigan in the January transfer window.
“There is interest in Erik from Holland, that is correct,” he told Aftonbladet.
“But clubs from France, Denmark, England and Sweden have also contacted me.
“I am talking to Wigan and it is up to the club if they are prepared to let Erik go in January.”
Dutch side Twente are reportedly lining up a move for the defender.
“I am not commenting on any specific clubs but Erik has a very good reputation in Holland,” he concluded.
