Suazo has been linked with moves to Tottenham and Atletico Madrid.
“I am very proud that it is being said that Atletico Madrid is interested in a player of our team, but for the moment there isn’t anything formal,” Monterrey president Jorge Urdiales told Excelsior.
“We are going to sit down and have conversations when we receive an offer for Suazo, but it’s 20million Euros that have to be paid for him because he is still under contract with us and we are not going to sell him for less money.
“At the moment the player is travelling to his homeland to have a very deserved holiday next to all his family so for the moment we are not going to disturb him by telling him about the negotiations.”
