Burnley are hoping to sign the African midfielder in a £1million deal from French side Lorient.
Mansouri spent the 2003/2004 season at Coventry and could be set for his second stint in England.
He said: “I have had discussions with Burnley’s directors and all that remains is for the two clubs to agree a deal.”
