The striker was sent to hospital for precautionary X-rays after leaving the pitch just half an hour in to the 3-0 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday.
“There is good news about Steven,” New Burnley boss Brian Laws told the club’s official website.
“The X-rays have not shown any real concerns and although sometimes it can take 48 hours for things to settle down, we are confident he should be available for the weekend.”
