Wenger have been under-fire in recent years for failing to bring in established stars to the Emirates Stadium.
Denilson said: “A lot of people say Arsene Wenger goes only for young players. We are young, but we have many players with experience now.
“Cesc Fabregas is young but he is very experienced. You can’t call us kids any more.
“It doesn’t matter that I’m 21 and I need to show on the pitch that it doesn’t matter how old I am.
“This season is a test of our character, but we’re more experienced than last season.
“We have to beat United, it doesn’t matter whether it’s 1-0, 2-0, whatever. But we are very confident.”
