Okaka scored the winning goal for Roma against Siena on Sunday.
Okaka will be flying in to seal the move to Craven Cottage later on Sunday.
“It’s a big satisfaction [the goal]. I wanted to do a good performance even if I’m set to leave,” Okaka told Sky Italia.
“Now I prepare my bags and I leave.
“It’s normal I’ll be homseick for these supporters, but I’m going to Fulham to do good things and we will see what will happen.
“I have already met (Roy) Hodgson.
“He is a great person and I am going there to learn from him.”
