Hunt have long been linked with a move to the Molineux side, but Hull boss Phil Brown is keen on keeping Hunt at the club.
A statement on the Tigers’ official website read: “In response to further released speculation, the club have received a verbal offer of £5million for Stephen Hunt.
“This has been completely rejected and we are not expecting any further bids.”
