Barcelona’s vice-president Alfons Godall admitted last night they are confident of signing the midfielder who left the club when he was 16-years-old.
“Sooner or later Cesc will end up coming back,” Godall said in The Sun.
“We are a club that can sign players because we are respected and solvent.”
Barcelona may expect to face competition from Real Madrid for the 22-year-old.
