The 31-year-old has been struggling with injuries since joining the Hammers in a £6million deal in the summer of 2007.
Dyer is currently earning £60,000-a-week, something that is frustrating the owners.
Sullivan said: “There is one player who hardly plays at all who might have to accept retirement.”
Sullivan added that the player earned: “£60-70,000 a week”.
