Il Corriere dello Sport says Juventus are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer and Schweinsteiger is their main target.
The 25-year-old has impressed for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season.
Schweinsteiger has also been linked with Chelsea and his current contract with Bayern Munich expires in 2012.
