The 18-year-old Brazilian is reportedly ready to leave Corinthians due to a lack of opportunities at the club, following the arrival of former Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos.
“Manchester have priority until February 15,” said Corithians president Andres Sanchez to Lancenet.
“If they pay 9million euros (around £7.9m), what can I do?”
Dodo’s contract with Corinthians expires at the end of 2012.
