Reports suggests Ajax are only willing to offer the 31-year-old a one-year extension to his expiring contract.
“I signed a one-year deal at Ajax at the beginning of the season. That was not about money, because I could have made way more money in the Premier League,” said Pantelic to Voetbal International.
“I accepted Ajax’s terms back then, but they will have to meet my demands if they want me to stay here. Money will be important this time and I will not sign another one-year deal. I want to stay for four more years.
“It remains to be seen whether Ajax have the resources to meet my demands. I wouldn’t be too surprised if I don’t play at Ajax any more next season.”
