Cech reared a calf muscle during the Champions League clash with Inter Milan on Wednesday.
A Blues spokesman said: “Today’s scans confirm that Petr Cech suffered a tear in a calf muscle in the Inter game.
“He is expected to be out for three to four weeks.”
