The 19-year-old spent time earlier this season on loan at Blackpool.
“A few days ago, the two clubs started talking and Arsenal spoke to me. My agent then spoke to Doncaster Rovers and it all went from there,” Emmanuel-Thomas told the club’s official website.
“I played against Doncaster in what was my second-to-last game for Blackpool, when I was on loan there. That was what I had to do when I was at Blackpool and that is now what I am here to do for Doncaster Rovers.
“The football in this division is different (from that of the Premier League), but everybody plays football differently. There are some teams in the Premier League that play similar football to some teams in The Championship.
“For me, it’s all about playing football. I’m an attacking player, I like going forward, beating players and I like to create things for other players as well.”
