The 34-year-old is out of contract in the summer and has still not been offered a new deal by the Red Devils.
“I have got to decide what I want to do myself first,” said Neville.
“Obviously the club will play a big part in that and I need to speak to the manager because he will have a big say in it as well.
“But really, I am not even thinking about it.
“At my age I just want to stay fit and concentrate on the last two months of the season. I will look at it then.
“I have my own idea but for the time being I want to concentrate on football.”
Neville has struggled to get back to his best ever since breaking an ankle in a challenge with Bolton’s Gary Speed in March 2007.
“It takes me a month to get back in the swing of things,” he said.
“You saw that from when I first came back, particularly against Leeds and Burnley.
“Then, after a couple of games I do seem to get better.
“Now I hope I can stay fit because I do feel stronger and ready for the rest of the season.”
