The 23-year-old came close to joining the Gunners in the January transfer window but the two clubs failed to agree on a deal due to Nice’s high asking price.
Nice wanted £13million for the highly-rated striker.
Remy said: “My preference would be Arsenal over Lyon.
“I won’t hide it. They are a young team with a developing game and with ambitions.
“I really take pleasure in watching them play. It is an ideal place to continue to progress.
