United face Chelsea in the main battle of the Premier League title race on Saturday.
“The fans at Old Trafford are always great, so they’ll hopefully help us over the line,” he told The Times.
“It does give you a slight advantage, but this is a top Chelsea side. They are capable of winning.
“Chelsea have led the league for most of the season, and there is a reason they have done that. They are a very strong team.
“A lot of Chelsea players have experience of winning the league – albeit a few years ago – and I know they are determined to get back to that level.”
