Reports have suggested that Ghana had offered Mourinho a $1million deal to manage them in South Africa.
“After my last match with Inter Milan, I will be on holiday and no way will I join any national team at the World Cup,” Mourinho said in a statement released by the Ghana FA.
“So, every word about my participation in the WC 2010 is completely untrue.”
“We are going to the World Cup with Milovan Rajevac, whom the FA has faith in,” said Ghanaian FA spokesman Randy Abbey.
“We have lots of respect for Jose Mourinho likewise we have for Rajevac, a wonderful coach who is out there doing his job ahead of the World Cup.
“Ghana’s plans to the World Cup does not include Mourinho and no such decision has been taken to call on any technical person for assistance.”
