Reports have linked the 19-year-old with a move to Premier League giants Arsenal.
“I will stay here,” he told the Corriere dello Sport newspaper.
“There is no point talking about it. I want to remain here and become Edinson Cavani’s heir.”
Hernandez’s contract with Palermo expires in the summer of 2013.
