The 23-year-old is keen on a return to Italy and both Fiorentina and Napoli have been linked with a move for the Italy international.
“Rossi will definitely leave Villarreal and could return to Italy,” Andrea Pastorello told Radio KissKiss Napoli. “He is being followed by several clubs, and we are not in any hurry to settle.
“With Fiorentina, there was an approach by the club a year ago, but nothing developed. Now, with the suspension of [striker Adrian] Mutu, the society could refocus its energies upon him.”
