Tiago joined Atletico Madrid on loan from Juventus in the Janauary transfer window and have made 18 appearances for the club.
“I am very, very happy here and I love playing in Spain,” he told A Bola.
“I would like to have more time here. Juventus and Atletico are discussing the details, I just have to wait and see what decisions will be taken.
“My desire is to remain here. However, I still have two years on my contract with Juve and if an agreement cannot be reached then I must accept it.”
The 29-year-old joined Juventus in a €13million deal from Lyon in 2007, but failed to make an impact in Turin.
