News of the World reports that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is keen on signing Aguero as he believes the Argentine will give his team a new dimension next season.
Reports claim United are willing to pay up to €60million for the highly-rated forward.
The 21-year-old has also been linked with a move to United’s rivals Chelsea.
