Pinilla is set to sign a four-year contract with Palermo.
“I only wanted to join Palermo,” the Chilean told TMW. “When my agent was telling me about the incoming offers, I automatically told him to refute them, as I had already set my mind on going to Palermo.
“I have always dreamed of playing with footballers of the highest level such as [striker Fabrizio] Miccoli, and want to demonstrate that I can also score many goals in Serie A.
“For me, it is a bet that I want to win. I will not let the society down.”
The 26-year-old will reportedly cost Palermo around 6million euros.
