Jol said: “Their kids, as you say, went to Anfield against a good Liverpool side and scored six goals.
“Their reserve team are as strong as any other Premiership side outside of the top four.
“Baptista, last year was worth £24million, and he is playing for that team. Two years ago we went in for him but it was difficult because he wanted European football.
“We haven’t seen much of him but then he scored four goals at Anfield.
“You can go on about a kids’ team all you like but they have played with lesser teams than this and won matches in the Carling Cup. This is definitely not just a kids’ team.”
