The Sunday Herald reports that their sources at Celtic have confirmed that Gallas has been in contact with them.
The 32-year-old is available on a free transfer after his contract with Arsenal expired at the end of last season.
Gallas has also been linked with Juventus, Malaga and Panathinaikos.
