O’Shea told United Review: “No-one likes being left out because we all want to be in the starting eleven.
“But every player takes the manager’s decisions on board because ultimately it’s about what is best for the team.
“The gaffer said to all of us before the season started that he’s got a tough job on his hands to pick the squad for each match.
“But he stressed the fact that we’re going to need everyone in it together if we’re to have a chance of winning titles and trophies this season.
“I want to play as many games as possible, but more importantly I want to help the team do well,” he added.
