The 24-year-old will join the Spanish side on a season-long loan deal.
“Sevilla FC are going to use the services of Italian midfielder Luca Cigatini, one the player passes a medical examination and signs all documents,” a statement on Sevilla’s official website, Sevillafc.es says.
“An agreement in principle has been reached between Napoli – the owner of the contract of the player – and Sevilla.
“Cigarini will arrive at Sevilla on loan with the option to purchase the player at the end of the campaign. Making it effective would be a contract for a further four seasons with the club.
“The player should fly into Sevilla on Tuesday pending airline availability to pass the medical tests and sign the contract.”
