Manager Mark Lillis thinks that Hendrie – brother of former Aston Villa player Lee – will prove to be a good signing for the League Two side.
Lillis said: “Stuart has really impressed while he has been here.
“People who have worked with him all say he is a great lad with a super attitude and he is the sort of player we will enjoy working with.
“He showed in pre-season that he has a real eye for goal and we are delighted to have him with us.”
