Drogba eyes more history

Drogba scored a hat-trick in Chelsea’s 6-0 demolition of West Brom on Saturday and the Ivorian is looking to a historic Premier League and Champions League double this term.

The 32-year-old told The Sun: “Why not score 40? But I’d rather score 20 goals and win the Champions League and Premier League.

“It’s not really about my performance, it’s more about what we’re going to win this season.

“Jimmy Greaves is a big legend here, so I’m really proud.

“It’s really nice to know there’s a big difference to when I came here, when I was struggling to adapt to English football.

“It is just a good feeling to be among all these big players, big names and still have a chance to go past them.

“If people talk about me in 40 years, I’ll be really happy. It’s nice for your kids to know that people speak about you in a good way and that you made history for the club.”
