Spurs, Liverpool and West Ham had all expressed an interest in the 23 year old but it looks as if he will be staying in Ligue One.
A Marseille statement read: “OM and OGC Nice hace reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of striker Loic Remy.”
“The 23-year-old player will arrive in Marseille this afternoon and will then undergo the customary medical examination prior to the signing of his contract. He will then be presented to the press.”
