The 18-year-old joins Palermo from Brazilian side Atletico Mineiro in a deal worth around £5million.
“I don’t remember his name, I only know that he cost me a lot of money, yes I’ve signed him,” joked Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini.
Pedro managed to become a regular starter for Mineiro earlier this year.
