Costa scored Valencia’s first goal in their 0-4 away win over Bursaspor last night.
“We have started the season well and all the players are contributing,” he was quoted by AS as saying.
He continued on his goal: “I knew it would not be easy and luckily it goes where it goes. I’ve always liked taking strikes like this and I had the opportunity. Although it didn’t go in we got the goal in the end.
“We attach great importance to the Champions League because it is the best competition. We are all thoroughly pleased to win.”
