The 20-year-old, who is currently impressing on loan at Beira Mar, has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League giants.
“I heard about United’s interest from my brother – it’s always good to see your name involved with a big club,” said Eduardo.
“The chance to move to United would be a dream for any player and this is a reflection of the work I put in each day.
“Why can’t I follow in the footsteps of Bebe and the others? For now I will keep working and will see what happens next.”
